Why move to Ypsilanti?
Here is some information on Ypsilanti MI!
After growing up around Ypsilanti, MI and now spending a lot of my time working with clients here, I am excited to see some new growth.
Ypsilanti to me always felt like a long forgotten, small town, that was never given a lot of credit for anything other then Eastern Michigan University.
We all know Eastern Michigan has always made the state proud with their academics and their great sports teams.
I have been happy to see that business owners are wanting to root their businesses here. I have always enjoyed the Wolverine Restaurant right in down town. Always service with a smile! =) Even as I heard the owner would be retiring, the small restaurant with well travelled floors was very welcoming to the new owners (who happen to be neighbors of mine). The new owners are fresh and excited to be there and us locals who often dine with in walking distance from our office are happy to have them. (also Drew Barrymore was not to shy to shoot a scene in her new up and coming movie there! Welcome to Ypsilanti Drew!)
We also just recently welcomed Bruce Springsteen!!
Ypsilanti also has a new restaurant that is coming right to down town. Mongolian style restaurant, is sure to bring in some locals to the down town area. Below, the owner talks about the soon to open Cigar Bar.
I think with the right investors coming into the area, it looks as though we might be the town "well traveled"!!
Picture this......Walking through down town, dinning, shopping, viewing art, with the feeling of a safe and fun community. Doesn't Ypsilanti sound great!
Plus, with all the new construction homes, newer grocery complex, a gym, new stores and restaurants popping up, and the acclaimed Lincoln School district, Ypsilanti is a desirable place to live and work!!!
I know that our Keller Williams Realty office is proud to be a part of this community!
Or know what other future plans that are coming to Ypsilanti?
Signed,
